Morgan Mckinley are proud to be working with a market leading business based in wellingborough. This is a great role for a progressive Accounts assistant to step into.

Key tasks will include:

  • Ownership of “Resouled” project including all aspects of accounting and reporting
  • Review and reconcile the inventory ledgers to identify and investigate anomalies and resolve these where possible; flagging any issues promptly to the Senior Financial Accountant – EMEA including any risks or opportunities identified for the group.
  • Preparation of monthly inventory provisions in line with group policies; identifying variances in stock ageing profile
  • Taking ownership of transfer pricing reconciliations relating to inventory and goods in transit reporting across EMEA; reviewing price, duty and freight variances and identify/investigate any issues
  • Act as the primary Finance contact for Shipping, Warehouse and UK Manufacturing, supporting the warehouse inventory counts
  • Maintenance of the EMEA ledgers in accordance with group and local statutory accounting requirements.
  • Assistance with the implementation, maintenance and improvement of robust month end processes and internal controls to meet the demands of a rapidly growing business.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

Put simply, for this role the key things we’re looking for are:

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
  • Good understanding of business processes and inventory costing, with a sound understanding of the importance of accuracy of nominal ledger postings
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel – proficient in VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, comfortable analysing large amounts of data
