ROLE:CFO (Chief Finance Officer)

LOCATION: Fleet, Hampshire

BASED: Hybrid – (Office based 1- 2 days p/w)

HOURS: Mon – Fri 9.00am – 5.30pm

We are now looking for an experienced, hands-on CFO to help the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team guide the organisation through a significant phase of expansion and wholesale technology transformation, helping position the Company for incredible growth and ultimately, future investment opportunity.

  • Taking ultimate executive ownership of the fiscal health of the Business, including all end-to-end finance operations, the full quote to cash cycle, reporting, planning and analysis, budgets, and helping drive the company’s business plans and overall growth strategy.
  • Executive oversight for implementing a new ERP, and in time, CRM, and working closely alongside our data and technology teams to enable robust systems performance and reporting.
  • Managing and taking full responsibility for CAPEX and OPEX functions
  • Ensuring cash flow is compatible with operations by overseeing day-to-day accounting, recording, reporting, and internal-control activities of the organization
  • Developing and implementing best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross-team communications, and workflows.
  • Supporting the CEO and the senior leadership team to make excellent business decisions and choices, acting as the ultimate sounding board and voice of reason.
  • Reporting to SLT on financial performance and position, current and future.
  • Take control, advise, and implement a strategy and clear plan of action to help shape the Company into its best investor-ready shape of its life, within the medium term (2-3 years)
  • Expert and authority on preparing and conducting, as well as reviewing investor and/or investment sales prospectuses.



  • 5+ years’ operating at board level as CFO, or Finance Director in an owner-managed business with over 150 employees, and an annual revenue of at least £50m
  • Demonstrable substantial track record of success leading the finance function in a high-growth digital SaaS business, which has flexed through significant change and growth, possibly even global expansion and diversification of services and operations, with a strong emphasis on fiscal discipline, systems, processes and overall investor readiness and fiscal health
  • Brilliant team player, mentor and exceptional communicator at all levels, adept at earning trust across the business, leading by example and action, and driven by delivery and results
  • Extensive experience in M&A along with capital raising and PE investment experience and leading the business to optimum effectiveness and value
  • Hands on experience of international markets and the setting up of new divisions and businesses across UK and abroad
  • Demonstrable experience of year on year ROI and longevity of managing multiple business cycles.


  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualifications or equivalent, or equivalent work experience
  • Solid experience in a SaaS recurring revenue digital space, and a good understanding of the revenue verticals within this business
  • A critical thinker, with excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience of ERP and CRM systems and implementation of these
  • A proven leader who has managed, developed, and maintained Finance teams through a successful growth journey
  • E-comm experience or similar industry
  • Expansive connected network of peers within the industry
  • Previous HR / Talent Management experience
