Our client is a global FMCG business operating in a robust market, increasing its market share through solid organic growth and a highly effective M&A strategy. This is a newly created opportunity to support the CFO, who has consistently invested in the finance department over the past few years. The role plays an integral part in supporting the CFO, leading the team and ensuring the future-proofing and succession planning for the team are strengthened considerably.

The incoming candidate will have daily exposure across the board and be in the middle of key decision-making. Candidates who are looking for a “high challenge, high reward” opportunity will be very attracted to this role!

The key deliverables include;

  • Further develop the profile of finance across the organisation
  • Increase the finance team’s capability to drive profit, productivity and commercial impact
  • Build strong, effective relationships with the C-Suite and Board
  • Manage M&A and investment processes through numerous internal teams
  • Assist and deputise for the CFO in internal and external meetings, presenting to third parties including banks and investors
  • Lead a large, multi-disciplinary finance team

An excellent reward structure has been set with a total package of circa £200,000.
