A Central Government Client is looking for a Finance Administrator to join them on a contract basis for 3 months, hybrid working, 2 days in an office in London.

Good to have: SC Clearance, candidates should be eligible to undergo SC Clearance.

Essential skills:

  • Inputting into standardised reports / dashboards for monthly financial reviews
  • Ensuring the use the correct accounting entries completed in compliance with relevant internal and wider government policy and a robust audit trail maintained.
  • Monitoring, and where appropriate approving invoices, engaging with commercial and suppliers when required to resolve issues.
  • Undertaking the input of budget profiles into corporate reporting systems, forming the baseline for future progress measurement.
  • Reviewing the Chart of Accounts
  • Continuous improvement
  • Supporting addressing issues highlighted during internal or external audit
