This is a rare opportunity to join a scale up real estate business as a Finance Analyst. The role will report directly into the CFO and will play as massive part on the next phase of growth over the next 12-24 months.

The Finance Analyst will play a vital part in the commercial finance side of the business, reporting into the CFO and will also get great exposure to senior management such as the CEO and founders. The intention is for this person to evolve in the role as the company continue to grow, and in 12-18 months have complete ownership of the FP&A side of the business. The company have amazing offices in south west London where they operate 4 days a week with the remaining day from home.

Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst will include;

– Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends, patterns, analysis of income versus expenditure, and market performance
– Create financial models to support valuation, planning, forecasting, budget, and expenditure planning processes and allow effective decision making
– Assist senior management prepare market analysis, data mining, business intelligence, benchmarking, and any necessary financial reports
– Manipulate, analyse, and interpret complex data sets ensuring outputs are accurate, timely, and meet the business need
– Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results against plans and forecasts and prepare reports that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
– Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports,
– Assist with the development and delivery of the wider business plan, including detailed input into the Business Plan and ownership of the excel model
– Assist with the equity-raise process and drawdowns of capital from equity investors
– Assist with the production of annual statutory accounts

The ideal candidate for this Finance Analyst role would be;

– ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent + PQE years
– Experienced in working in a similar capacity ie FP&A
– A go getter, and enthusiastic to adjust in a changing environment;
– Experienced in dealing with financial and non-financial stakeholders;
– Skilled in Microsoft excel and accounting software
– Able to work towards tight deadlines
– Be comfortable working autonomously and seeing things through from start to finish
