Recra are working in partnership with a well established niche engineering company who are looking for a Finance and Sales Manager to join their team.

You will be working very closely with the Managing Director to ensure the smooth running of this critical department.

Key duties to include but not limited to:
 

  • Sales ledger including invoicing of parts and machines, customer statements and credit control. 
  • Purchase ledger including invoice input – (both batch and to purchase orders) and supplier payments. 
  • Stock management including parts and machine orders and goods received. 
  • Parts pricing and adding new lines as required. 
  • Journal entries to include payroll, accruals, depreciations, prepayments, and cost of sales. 
  • Bank receipts, supplier payments, recurring entries and daily reconciliations.
  • Month end reports in Excel as well as running Sage reports for profit and loss, trial balance, balance sheet and aged creditors and debtors. 
  • Month end currency adjustments. 
  • Management of VAT deferment and postponed vat accounts. 
  • VAT quarter entries and payments. 
  • Warranty claim entries and invoicing. 
  • Year-end stock take.
  • Proficient in all aspects of MS office to use Excel spreadsheets, word and outlook.

Ideally will have the following;

  • Need to be experienced in all aspects of Bookkeeping up to year end.
  • A methodical person with an eye for detail with the ability to prioritise.
  • Able to work as part of our small team as well as independently.
  • Have Sage50 experience of at least 2years plus.
