DBS essential for the role

Hybrid working – homebased with travel to the Watford office 1-2 time per fortnight. (To be discussed at interview.)

Reporting into the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, you’ll be joining a passionate and busy team during a key period of transformation.

– You’ll be working in a role that has business partnering at its core and be working across all parts of the organisation, particularly supporting Our Clients People, Strategy and Corporate Services functions.

– You’ll play an important role in contributing to Our Clients operational performance, as well as the delivery of Our Clients core strategies. Perhaps you’ve worked in a similar organisation previously, or maybe you’re looking for the next challenge in your Finance career. As the Finance Business Partner, you’ll be:

– Forging trusted relationships with stakeholders to make sure they understand their financial commitments.

– Creating monthly reporting packs with detailed analysis on performance outcome and presenting the data effectively.

– Supporting business areas in the preparation of forecasts and budgets, ensuring these are aligned to operational plans

– Leading on financial reporting for Our Clients £6m Technology Strategy programme.

– Conducting regular meetings with stakeholders and their teams to ensure budget commitments and over/under-spend implications are understood.

– Producing regular reports for ELT and frequent involvement in project work

– Qualified Accountant with good understanding of management reporting within a large organisation.

– First-class communication skills to allow financial facts and data to be communicated to non-financial colleagues.

– Demonstrable experience within in a business partnering role in a similar organisation.

– Confidence to challenge and critique your stakeholders to ensure accuracy

– Experience of delivering monthly and quarterly reporting for various stakeholders.

– Strong IT Skills including Excel and TM1/BI systems.


  • CCAB qualification or equivalent professionally qualified accountant
  • Show commercial acumen and demonstrate an ability to influence senior stakeholders to impact outcomes.
  • Excellent it skills, microsoft office and business intelligence systems
  • Good written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong spreadsheet/It skills.
  • Good analytical ability.
