Simpson Judge are working with a forward-thinking, quickly growing business, with offices based in Liverpool City Centre. This is a permanent position; for an ambitious Finance business partner, with a lot of scope to develop and a progression pathway.

Responsibilities include:
o Work with the senior leadership team to allow strategic decision making with the help of financial
information
o Preparation & reporting of monthly management accounts, variance analysis and commentaries for the
monthly Board report
o Make sure spend in line with budgets
o Manage annual budgeting process from planning and stakeholder communication through to delivery
o Report on company assets and liabilities including balance sheet account reconciliations
o Ensure management accounts are working with financial governance & internal control requirements
o Support Auditors during year-end audit for statutory reporting
o Embed a culture of ongoing improvement; identify and support system and process improvements and
efficiency’s, culminating in enhanced financial data integrity
o Promote ongoing business efficiency’s in support of ambitious savings targets and define fit-for-purpose Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards
o Support senior-level strategy development, present financial insights, scenario planning and what-if analysis

Experience/Skills required:
o CIMA, ACCA, or ACA Qualified Accountant
o Have management accounts experience
o Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
