Finance Operations Officer | Hybrid – 3 days per week office based in central Bath | Part-time |20 hours a week, preferably over 5 days | £15,000 – £17,000 p.a. DoE

Our client is a global market-leading provider of testing tools for software developers. The company’s tools test the safety and business-critical embedded software and accelerate safety standards compliance.

To succeed in this role, you will be self-motivated, highly organised and have experience in company finances. In this role, you will manage the company’s day-today financial operational needs.

Are you the right person for the job?

You will be able to demonstrate strong skills in the following:

  • Financial accounting, VAT, and reporting with QuickBooks
  • Processing transactions in multiple currencies 
  • Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
  • Team working

Desired Skills

  • AAT qualification or studying towards would be advantageous
  • Working with international teams and customers

What will your role as a Finance Operations Officer look like?

  • You will be responsible for the company accounts using QuickBooks to produce monthly bank reconciliations and financial reports
  • Submitting quarterly VAT returns
  • Managing cash flow transactions and making payments
  • Payroll and management of staff benefits arrangements
  • AP & AR management, payment runs and account reconciliations
  • Credit cards administration and reconciliation
  • Support company accountant with Year End procedure
  • Order processing and updating records in our CRM system
