This is a HUGE success piece and an incredible opportunity for a Finance Manager to lead on this super impressive project!

This role is responsible for financially supporting our largest Transformation investment in our Finance & Accounting platform, used by a large proportion of the NHS. Business Partnering with the PM/SRO and other key operational partners, a key part will be working directly with senior partners such as heads of departments and Directors, providing insightful and useful analysis. You will have a proven working background of supporting on large scale projects, understanding the intricacies of the project and acting as the financial touchstone.

What you will be doing:

  • Financially support/business partner PM/SRO;
  • Monthly close of on a timely, accurate and professional basis (Monthly accounting adjustments/Variance analysis commentary, Forecasting);
  • Update key Programme financials;
  • Handle P&L forecast updates;
  • Attend regular meetings with key senior management and programme leads;
  • Produce cost/benefits analysis of the business cases;
  • Build and maintain financial models;
  • Ad Hoc financial analysis & modelling;
  • Deputising for others in the team as required to cover key roles.

What you will bring:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, CIPFA, etc);
  • Be educated to a degree level (Minimum grade required 2.1);
  • Previous experience in management accounts (Forecasting/Variance analysis/Performance reporting etc);
  • Experience managing multiple partners;
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately with complex information and present in a clear format;
  • Motivated, driven and keen to progress career;
  • Keen attention to detail and an analytical nature;
  • Confidence to challenge where numbers don’t look right;

It would be great if you had:

  • Previous experience in supporting successful delivery of a large scale programme
